For SCWD, water is life. Thus, the SCWD Board of Directors led by Chairman Charles Clemente and Management led by IGM Engr. Eduardo Tejada make sure that water is available, as far as practicable, 24/7 to almost 75,000 water consumers in 34 served barangays through its two private partners PrimeWater-Sorsogon City and Abejo Waters Corp . As part of the observance of World Water Day today, March 22, IGM Tejada handed out 20 water jugs from used chlorine drums provided by both PrimeWater and AWC and 20 water tumblers from SCWD to further emphasize the importance of water in our daily lives. This may be a small gesture to achieve the dream of 24/7 water supply to all households, but it surely is a step in the right direction.
