San Lorenzo Pumping Station (PS) Well No. 2 was inaugurated and is now operational designed to deliver 2000 cubic meters of water everyday to stabilize water supply in the east portion of Sorsogon City.
Under the leadership of Engr. Eduardo P. Tejada as the SCWD Interim General Manager (IGM) and Chairman Charles Clemente III of the Board of Directors of SCWD, the event signifies a strong dedication to enhance water quality and accessibility - all for the good of water concessionaires.
Sorsogon City Mayor Ester Hamor graced the inauguration. Her words not only reflected her passion for progress but also highlighted her commitment to serve the people of Sorsogon City with zeal and dedication.
PrimeWater Branch Manager Engr. Roger Pereyra together with Primewater top officials added a touch of expertise and professionalism to the event. He personified the importance of collaboration, cooperation and partnership between government agencies and private entities in driving development thru efficient water service delivery. Primewater developed the new water source and tasked to operate the same.
Abejo Waters Corporation as represented by Plant Manager Biff Bulanon also attended the occasion. The participation of the three players in city’s water supply services during the inauguration symbolized unity, shared goals, and a collective vision for a brighter future for Sorsogon City.
The Barangay Council of Bibincahan, led by Barangay Chairperson Hon. Guia Janer, alongside with City Councilor Mark Jason Jamisola made significant impact at the inauguration. Their presence highlighted the unity and dedication of local government officials in serving the community thru reliable delivery of safe water in every household.
Another highlight event during the day was the Ground breaking ceremony of San Lorenzo Pumping Station 2. The facility will house the previously mentioned new well to make it secure and facilitate sustained operation.
