The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity was led by the SCWD together with its partners, Abejo Waters Corp. (AWC) Sorsogon Bulk Water Supply and PrimeWater Infrastructure Corp (PrimeWater Sorsogon City).

The Activity was graced by BOD Member Rev. Fr. Philippe Andrew B. Gallanosa, and was attended by the SCWD CSR Group headed by Interim General Manager Engr. Eduardo P. Tejada; PrimeWater Sorsogon City represented by Area Head Ms. Christina Lipa and Branch Manager Engr.Ronel Roger S.Pereyra; and AWC Sorsogon Plant Manager Biff D.Bulanon.

Sorsogon City District Jail Acting Warden JCInsp Tedler K. Samonte, extended appreciation, and gratitude to the SCWD and its partners for choosing the District Jail to be this year’s beneficiary of the anniversary outreach activity, and surely the hygiene kits would be of great help to all the Kuya’s and Ate’s inside the community.

IGM Tejada also respected the warmest welcome extended to the SCWD, and expressed that the District personally chose to share its blessings with its good neighbor/next door, since the SCWD recently transferred to its new office building at the City Hall Compound, Barangay Cabid-An.

One of the Kuya’s shared a testimony on how the Sorsogon City District transformed them as an individual and how their community inside made them a better person, compared to other District Jail in the Country.

In his closing message, Rev.Fr. Gallanosa inspired the Kuya’s and Ate’s of the Sorsogon City District Jail to always pray, have faith and patience, for the Lord listens to their payers and agonies, and all shall be given to them at the right time.
