At a click of a button, SCWD Interim General Manager Engr. Eduardo P. Tejada officially launched a text broadcast on September 16, 2020 from SCWD’s AMBER web-based application introducing SCWD’s newest information dissemination facility to its concessionaires/clients.
The messaging application will enable SCWD to broadcast messages to the pre-registered mobile number of its concessionaires while allowing its recipients to send messages to SCWD, free of charge.

“Since Day One, we have always wanted to bring SCWD and its services closer to our concessionaires and this text messaging feature will bring us one step closer to that objective,” says Engr. Tejada.
He added that this service is expected to improve the communication channel between SCWD and its concessionaires as clients can send messages or complaints without incurring mobile phone charges. The cost of that text message is already shouldered by SCWD.
“Accordingly, all concerns of our concessionaires with regards to the water service delivery of our private partner, Primewater Infrastructure Corp., will be promptly acted upon. Service requests will be received by SCWD and as the Contract Monitoring Unit of the partnership, we have the authority to enforce compliance measures to PrimeWater to resolve said complaints,” ended IGM Tejada.
SCWD’s new numbers under this messaging application are: 21588106 for Globe/TM subscribers and 225658106 for Smart/TNT/Sun subscribers.
